Dear JAHF members,
I am pleased to announce the results of our recent election. JAHF’s newly elected officers are:
President (3 year term): Julie Davis
Vice President (3 year term): Xiaojin Wu
They will join Karen Fraser (Treasurer), Tamaki Maeda (Secretary) and Miriam Chusid (Graduate Representative) on JAHF’s board of elected officers. The baton will officially be passed at the time of the JAHF annual business meeting at the Association for Asian Studies meeting in Philadelphia on Friday, March 28. The JAHF meeting will begin at 7:30 pm in Room 402/403 at the Philadelphia Downtown Marriott Hotel (1201 Market Street). All members are warmly welcome to attend.
Many thanks to our outgoing officers John Carpenter (President) and Monika Dix (Vice President) for their years of service, and to all the members who took the time from their busy schedules to vote.
