Dear JAHF Colleagues and Grad Students
As we did for the last few years, JAHF would like to host graduate student panels at both CAA (New York) and AAS (San Diego) in 2013.
This is a great opportunity for graduate students to present their research and receive feedback from senior scholars of Japanese art history.
For consideration, please submit a 250 word abstract and a brief letter of support from a supervisor to JAHF grad student representative Asato Ikeda (asatoikeda@gmail.com) by November 15th, 2012. Please state a preference for either CAA or AAS, if you have one.
Those students accepted to the panel will be eligible for the JAHF travel funding (the deadline of which will be announced later this year).
Additionally, as I have already completed my PhD program, we are looking for somebody to replace me. Please contact me if you are interested in the position of graduate student representative.
Thank you very much.
Sincerely,
Asato Ikeda
